Assassin: |
|
The Assassin is the fastest ship in the game. With a cruise of
warp factor 11.9 and the ability to sprint to Warp 14, the Assassin can
outrun anything. It can even make a Romulan plasma torpedo struggle to
keep up, but with only two phaser arrays, you must get close to attack.
This ship does best as part of a swarm, but if it is well piloted by an
active captain who can use the phasers to defend from torpedo attacks, an
Assassin can be an effective fighter. Since it's essentially two
phasers and a crew cabin welded to a fat warp engine, it only has a crew of
45, so repairs can take a while. On the plus side, it has good stealth
characteristics which make it hard to track on long range sensors. An
Assassin may not show up until it is as close as 15,000 units away,
sometimes even closer. |
